Hi,
akane.network
We are akane.network — a small, hands-on group that hosts services to make the internet a little more reliable and open.
It is personal for us: we run the boxes, answer the alerts, and keep things tidy because we use it too.
Some things we host
- mirror.akane.network — Linux package mirror and a stash of ISOs, utilities, and other files.
- Public-good seeding — torrents for datasets like Wikipedia dumps and similar archival projects.
Why we do it
We keep small, boring infrastructure running so useful things stay online. It is a quiet kind of care, and we like it that way.
